Samarth Jurel is set to make his appearance in Laughter Chefs season 2. He will be seen alongside Abhishek Kumar, one of his rivals in Bigg Boss 17. The actor recently hit the headlines for bagging a new show apart from the cookery show. Speaking with a media portal, Samarth confirmed that he has been roped in for Ekta Kapoor’s next OTT show which will also star Kanika Mann and Harsh Rajput in pivotal roles.

During an interaction with Times Now, Samarth Jurel confirmed, “Yes, I am doing Ekta Kapoor ma’am next show. But I can’t reveal more details about it. I can’t reveal the details about the platform either. Yes, I am very excited about it. Right now, I am focusing on Laughter Chefs 2. Once I start working on the OTT project, I can only share more details about it.”

If the reports are to be believed, Samarth Jurel’s new show is expected to be a love triangle. A source, as quoted by India Forums, said, “Kanika Mann will play the female lead, with Harsh Rajput and Samarth Jurel as the leading men. The show will offer a grand and visually stunning experience.”

Samarth Jurel is known for his TV shows such as Udaariyaan, Prem Bandhan and others. He also participated in Bigg Boss 17 as a wild card contestant, garnering attention for his relationship with Isha Malviya and tiff with her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Kumar. After the show’s conclusion, Samarth and Isha parted ways with each other and the actor became friends with Abhishek. Now, the actor duo is set to be seen in Laughter Chefs 2 together.

Recently, Samarth Jurel expressed excitement about being a part of the upcoming cooking show. In a conversation with News18, he said, “I’m really glad they approached me for this show because it’s such a fun experience. Actually, they had reached out to me for a few episodes in the first season as well, but I wasn’t available at the time. Since this is the second season and it’s already a hit, I decided to go for it. Plus, it’s unscripted, which makes me even more excited.”

Laughter Chefs 2 will replace Bigg Boss 18. It will premiere on January 25.
