This co-star of Salman Khan is a big-time entertainer. Ever since he entered the TV and film industry, he has made the audience laugh with his jokes and comedy acts. He started from a comedy reality show and eventually worked in some movies. Currently, he is a part of one of the most popular Hindi TV shows. But did you know he was once badly hit in Paris?
The actor-comedian we are talking about is Sudesh Lehri. The actor worked with Salman Khan in Ready and Jai Ho and with Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor in No Problem. About being hit in Paris by a drunk man, Sudesh told Archana Puran Singh, “I was singing in Paris, and everything was going well until a drunkard came on stage, held my collar, and slapped me hard. My mic fell off. It was very humiliating. I wanted to cry but my tears weren’t coming out. The musicians with me wanted to take care of him and took out their drumsticks, but I stopped them. I started questioning everything ki kya kar rahe hai. I came home to my wife and told her that I wouldn’t be performing at weddings anymore.”
In the same interaction, Sudesh recalled the day when he had to sell his house to pay pending dues. He lived in a rented apartment and after working on his first movie, he could finally buy a house in Mumbai. Currently, Sudesh Lehri is a part of Laughter Chefs 2 on Colours TV. He is partnered with Mannara Chopra in the cooking comedy show.
Lehri has also worked with Kapil Sharma on The Kapil Sharma Show and with Krushna Abhishek on Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao, and Comedy Classes.
